A man has been remanded in custody after police found cannabis plants with an estimated street value worth up to £242,000 in a derelict house in Cardigan.
Manuel Nerguti, aged 20, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court, after he was charged with producing a class B drug following a raid in Bridell.
Officers carried out a warrant on June 7, 2025, in which they discovered 260 cannabis plants inside the house.
The warrant was carried out as part of Operation Scotney, which is Dyfed-Powys Police’s response to industrial scale cannabis factories being set up across the force area by organised crime gangs.
Nergutti did not enter a plea when he appeared in court on Monday, June 9. He was remanded in custody to appear at Swansea Crown Court on July 11.
