New Study Reveals The Most Lusted Over Celebrities

• Analysis of nearly 115,000 suggestive tweets has revealed the celebrities with the thirstiest fans 
• Channing Tatum is officially the sexiest celebrity, with almost 2,000 tweets about him featuring the words ‘hot,’ ‘horny,’ or ‘sexy’, followed by Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston

• Christiano Ronaldo, musician Alex Turner, and boxer Anthony Joshua are the only non-actors in the top 10 list 

A new study by lingerie retailer, Pour Moi, has revealed the sexiest celebrities, according to the lusty tweets that are written about them.

The study scraped Twitter to analyse nearly 115,000 horny tweets posted about 100 celebrities to discover who were the most lusted over online. The analysis revealed Channing Tatum fans to be the thirstiest with almost 2,000 tweets posted since 2019 featuring the words ‘hot,’ ‘horny,’ or ‘sexy’. He initially became a worldwide heartthrob in 2006 when he landed his breakthrough role in the dance film Step Up, but he firmly secured his position as a sex symbol after the release of Magic Mike. Released in 2012, Magic Mike was Channing Tatum’s way of turning his past as a male stripper into movie gold, which gave fans plenty of opportunities to quench their Tatum thirst. 

Angelina Jolie is next on the list with 1,939 thirsty tweets posted about the American actor in the last three years. With tweets such as “Angelina Jolie will never not be hot” the award-winning star has clearly got fans feeling hot under the collar since her appearance in Girl, Interrupted in1999, and has continued to do so in films such as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Mr and Mrs Smith, and Eternals. 

Jolie is followed by a fellow Hollywood actress, Jennifer Aniston, as fans of the Friends star have taken to Twitter 1,931 times to express their thirsty thoughts. Jennifer Aniston rose to fame with her role as Rachel, one of the main love interests, in the sitcom Friends. Since then, she has played multiple roles that encounter steamy scenes; including, a strip and pole dancing scene in We’re The Millers, and her attempt at joining the mile-high club in Rumour Has It. 

The top 10 list of lusted celebrities is primarily made up of actors with Peaky Blinders actor, Cillian Murphy, in at fourth, Leonardo DiCaprio is sixth, Miles Teller is seventh, and Tom Hardy is eighth. The legendary footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, has the fifth thirstiest fan base with 1,841 saucy tweets posted about him over the last three years. Alex Turner, frontman of the Arctic Monkeys, is the only musician to feature in the top 10 in ninth position, whilst British boxer Anthony Joshua completes the top 10 list.  

More musicians feature in the top 20; American rapper Lil Nas X (a self-proclaimed ‘thirst trap’) is 15th, followed by British indie artist Sam Fender in at 18th with over 1,400 thirst tweets written by fans. Fender is closely followed by American sweetheart Taylor Swift who is 19th, with pop icon Dua Lipa completing the top 20. 

The only other sportsperson on the top 20 list of thirstiest fans is UFC star Holly Holm, whose fans post enough thirsty tweets to place them as the 17th thirstiest celebrity fan base.  

Only one TV personality makes the top 20 and that’s the famously seductive TV chef Nigella Lawson, who regularly drops saucy innuendos into her shows, such as: “If you would prefer something oozy and sticky to take up to bed with you, well, that’s fine by me.”  

Top 20 Most Lusted Over Celebrities

When we just look at the musicians, Alex Turner is the most lusted over with over 1,550 tweets posted since 2019 calling him ‘hot,’ ‘horny,’ or ‘sexy’. The British singer is best known as the frontman and principal songwriter of the rock band Arctic Monkeys. Regularly dressed in tailored clothing and styling a suave quiff, there is no wonder so many fans want to quench their Alex Turner thirst. 

American rapper and singer, Lil Nas X, is second on the musician list with 1,440 thirsty tweets posted about them in the last three years. With tweets such as “Lil Nas X is so sexy and I will not hear otherwise” the star has clearly got fans feeling hot under the collar since they achieved viral popularity in early 2019 with ‘Old Town Road.’ With half-naked Instagram posts and incredible outfits worn on the red carpet, Lil Nas X has earned his status as a thirst trap. 

Third on the list is indie rock musician Sam Fender. From recently performing at his first Glastonbury show to supporting the Rolling Stones, his fans appreciate a lot more than his high tenor vocal cords, with 1,408 suggestive tweets posted about him in the last three years. Completing the top five list is American sweetheart Taylor Swift and then the queen of pop Dua Lipa. 

Despite the top three being dominated by male musicians the rest of the list is predominately female. Just seven male musicians in the whole of the top 20 list, outside of the top three men is Drake in 12th position who has 1,107 thirsty tweets posted about it, 13th is Nick Jonas, and Harry Styles in 14th. The only other male in the top 20 is Machine Gun Kelly in 17th position as a result of just over 1,000 suggestive tweets written about him.

Top 20 Most Lusted Over Musicians

Looking at sport stars, Cristiano Ronaldo fans are the thirstiest with over 1,840 tweets posted since 2019 featuring the words ‘hot,’ ‘horny,’ or ‘sexy’. The Portuguese footballer is often dubbed the greatest in the world, since winning five Ballon d’Or awards and four European Golden Shoes – more than any other European player. Regularly posting pictures of him training on social media, he certainly gives fans plenty of opportunities to quench their Ronaldo thirst. 

British boxer, Anthony Joshua, is second on the list with 1,526 thirsty tweets posted about him in the last three years. With tweets such as “Everything about Anthony Joshua is sexy & I don’t understand why” the boxing champion has clearly got fans feeling hot under the collar since he started competing as a professional for Team GB at the London 2012 Olympics. At 6 ft 6 tall and considered to be ‘pure muscle’ there is no wonder why he has fans feeling flustered. 

AJ is followed by UFC champion, Holly Holm, as fans of the mixed martial arts star have taken to Twitter 1,435 times to express their thirsty thoughts. Interestingly, the only other female athlete to feature on the list is a fellow UFC champion, Ronda Rousey, who is famously known as “Rowdy” in the ring. 

The top 10 list of thirsty fans is primarily made up of footballers; Cristiano Ronaldo fans top the list, Neymar in fourth, and now retired footballer, David Beckham, is seventh on the list. French professional footballer, Olivier Giroud, is eighth with 1,132 saucy tweets posted about him since 2019, and Jack Grealish is ninth. 

Other athletes getting their fans feeling hot under the collar include the widely adored John Cena, who is known for both his good looks and his generosity to fans. The other sportsman to feature in the top 10 is one of the world’s most famous basketball players, LeBron James, who has 1,154 suggestive tweets posted on social media.
